Sam-I-Am bugs his companion Guy-Am-I (who is anonymous in the first book) to eat a plate of green eggs and ham. Fellow rejects by saying, “I couldn’t care less for green eggs and ham. I couldn’t care less for them, Sam-I-Am.” He repeats this all through the story while Sam productively tails him, mentioning that he eat them in eight conditions (house, box, vehicle, tree, train, diminish, storm, barge) and with three animals (mouse, fox, goat), however Guy despite everything cannot, saying, “I dislike them anywhere! I dislike them anyplace!”
At last, after the entire group falls into the ocean, Guy-Am-I yields to attempting green eggs and ham “In the event that you let me be, I will attempt them. You will see”. Subsequent to inspecting the dish, he cheerfully reports he would eat them anyplace and with anybody (referencing each past area and creature he denied in) and closes the story, saying, “I do so like green eggs and ham.
