I as of late rediscovered this jewel at my neighborhood second-hand shop during one of my numerous cases for books. I’ve gradually been structured my very own library at home. When I saw this book, it jumped out at me, why not have some little youngsters’ works of art inside my accumulation for the events when there are little kids in my home. So with that, the book got back home with me.
I can’t start to express the sentimentality that came over me. Such warmth overflowed my heart as I was moved back to second grade in those modest work areas with the little seats having perusing time. Flipping through unlimited books. I became hopelessly enamored with the outlines from books well before I could even peruse, and this book without a doubt is extremely enrapturing with every one of its hues and the fun little caterpillar gaps.
It’s such a basic yet great book that has brought such a great amount of delight to numerous kids throughout the years.

I recall this book being perused to me when I was a youngster and it is as yet an untouched most loved story of mine. It is appropriate for EYFS and KS1. The representations in this book are so attractive and lively that they truly make the story spring up! It is the tale of a caterpillar’s voyage to turning into a butterfly.
Another cross-curricular book with boundless exercises from composing their own ‘The Very Hungry…’ book, tallying, including and subtracting, smart dieting, life cycle, balance/designs.
When I was working with EYFS we had a Live Butterfly Garden on our Investigation table where the youngsters could watch the stages the caterpillars experienced in getting to be butterflies. It truly urged the youngsters to watch, compose and draw!
